Is Dr Kidero planning an exit from Mumias?

Mumias Sugar Company managing director Dr Evans Kidero could be on his way out of the firm.

Dr Kidero, who has been the head honcho of the miller is said to be considering not renewing his tenure although the company is yet to confirm.

Bizextras has learnt that Dr Kidero has already put in place a succession plan that began by promoting all heads of departments to new titles of directors. This, those close to the on goings in the firm indicate is to put all the directors at equal levels of succeeding him.

Dr Kidero is one of the people who have been linked to the possibility of running for the post of governor in Nairobi County in the next elections.

The secretariat is composed of both political and business leaders in the city. Some clergymen and academicians are also part of the team trusted with designing a winning formula in the next elections.

As part of reaching out to his potential voters, Dr Kidero has recently joined Twitter @kideroevans and Facebook. Through this social network platforms he has been keen to inform the public of his activities ostensibly aimed at endearing him to the electorate.

He is a Pharmacy graduate from the University of Nairobi and holds an MBA from United States International University. Before joining the miller, he was the managing director of Glaxo Smithkline and Nation Newspapers Division of Nation Media Group.
