12 September 2013 Nokia today announced the availability of the Nokia Lumia 625 smartphone across East Africa, offering affordable high speed connectivity with a big 4.7” screen for a leading entertainment experience.

The Nokia Lumia 625 is available in a range of colours at the following recommended retail prices:

Kenya: KES 28,900      

Tanzania: TZS 525,000 

Uganda: UGX 839,000

With a new expression of the award winning Nokia Lumia design, the Nokia Lumia 625 offers the choice of semi-transparent changeable shells; available in white, black and yellow which add to the Live Tile personalisation brought by Windows Phone 8.

Nokia Lumia 625 brings a rich selection of exclusive high end innovations to a lower price. These include a range of integrated camera applications like Nokia Smart Camera, which allows users to capture the perfect shot every time, and Nokia Cinemagraph, which transforms pictures into living memories.

The Nokia Lumia 625 is 4G/LTE ready smartphone, capable of offering up to 10x faster video streaming and internet surfing*. Content like games, apps, and free navigation with HERE Maps and Drive are also easier to follow on its big screen. It offers access to over 165,000 apps and leading Nokia services out of the box.
