Twitter has announced plans to set an African office in Ghana. The platform says the move is in line with its growth strategy for the African continent. In a blog post, Twitter said it had begun to actively build a team in the west African nation.

It added that they were looking for specialists including designers, engineers, marketing and communications. The choice of Ghana is a plus to President Nana AKufo-Addo’s administration. Accra recently became the headquarters of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
